Description:

Boc-Ala-NCA is a chiral organic chemical that is used in peptide synthesis. It is a biomolecule that has been shown to have the ability to bind to and crosslink with DNA, RNA, and other proteins. Boc-Ala-NCA has also been shown to dimerize with itself in an enantiomeric mixture. Boc-Ala-NCA can be synthesized by iodocyclization of Nalpha-(N'-BOC)alanine (1). The first step involves converting 1 into 2 by reacting it with hydrochloric acid. The second step involves converting 2 into 3 by reacting it with iodine in methylene chloride. The third step involves converting 3 into 4 by reacting it with boron tribromide in methylene
