4,5,6,7-Tetrahydrofuro[3,2-c]pyridine is a potent and selective inhibitor of class I PI3K (PI3KCA) and class IIA PI3K (PI3KCG/PI3Kδ), which are enzymes that maintain the integrity of cellular membranes. It has been shown to inhibit the kinase activity of these enzymes. 4,5,6,7-Tetrahydrofuro[3,2-c]pyridine has been shown to have anti-cancer effects in vitro and in vivo in preclinical models. 4,5,6,7-Tetrahydrofuro[3,2-c]pyridine also inhibits Jak2 kinases and JAK1 with similar potency to its inhibition of PI3KCG/PI3Kδ.
