Product Information

Name:
Isorubrofusarin-6-o-β-gentiobioside
Description:

Isorubrofusarin-6-o-β-gentiobioside is an anti-inflammatory agent that is isolated from the Chinese medicinal plant Cassia. It has been shown to inhibit the conversion of rubrofusarin to gentiobioside in rat and human liver microsomes, which may be due to its ability to interconvert between the two substances. Isorubrofusarin-6-o-β-gentiobioside can also convert adenosine into inosinic acid, which may be responsible for its anti-inflammatory effects. This compound also has a linear structure, with solvents such as water and ethanol as potential transformation agents. The optimum temperature for this transformation is 60°C, while it requires temperatures below 40°C and above 80°C for the breakdown of this compound.
