Product Information
INH14 is a proteolytic enzyme that has been shown to be an effective cancer therapy. It exhibits high lipophilicity, which enables it to penetrate the muscle fibers and activate toll-like receptor 4 (TLR4). The activated TLR4 molecule then activates the downstream signaling pathways, leading to the death of cancer cells. INH14 is also able to inhibit angiogenesis by inhibiting vascular endothelial growth factor receptor 2 (VEGFR2) and can be used for the treatment of cancer.
INH14 also has an antimalarial activity when tested in vitro on erythrocytes infected with Plasmodium falciparum.
