Description:
1-(2,4-Dichlorobenzoyl)-1H-benzotriazole is a benzotriazole that inhibits the activity of trichostatin A (TSA), an anticancer agent. It is synthesized by condensation of 2,4-dichlorobenzoic acid and acetyl chloride, followed by acylation with benzoyl chloride. This molecule binds to the active site of TSA, which prevents it from binding to tubulin and initiating its anticancer effect.
