Description:
(S)-Di-tert-butyl 2-(3-((S)-6-Amino-1-(tert-butoxy)-1-oxohexan-2-yl)ureido)pentanedioate is a potential drug for the treatment of prostate cancer. It has been shown to inhibit the growth of prostate cancer cells in vitro and to reduce the frequency of metastases in mice with prostate cancer. This agent also has high affinity for prostate, which may make it more effective than other drugs that are currently used clinically. The radiolabeling and preclinical studies suggest that (S)-di-tert-butyl 2-(3-((S)-6 amino 1-(tert butoxy) 1 oxohexan 2 yl) ureido) pentanedioate may be an effective drug for the treatment of metastatic disease.
