Description:
4,4'-Bis(9-ethyl-3-carbazovinylene)-1,1'-biphenyl is a light emitting material that has been shown to emit bright blue light under UV excitation. It emits in the range of 400-500 nm and has a low quantum yield. The emission spectrum is broad with a maximum at 440 nm. 4,4'-Bis(9-ethyl-3-carbazovinylene)-1,1'-biphenyl can be used as an electrode material in organic light emitting diodes (OLEDs).
