Product Information
1,4'-Bipiperidin-4-ol is a fluorescent protein that selectively binds to the Ryanodine receptor and can be used as an indicator of c-reactive protein levels in the plasma membrane. The sensor is made from a rhodamine dye, which has been labeled with a fluorescent tag. This dye can be used in vivo and in vitro to monitor the activity of the Ryanodine receptor and c-reactive protein levels. The 1,4'-bipiperidin-4-ol is currently being tested as a sensor for monitoring changes in c-reactive protein levels associated with inflammation or sepsis.
