Description

4-Bromophenylhydrazine monohydrochloride (4BP) is a chemical intermediate used in organic synthesis. It reacts with amines to produce 4-bromoazobenzene, which has many uses in the production of pharmaceuticals and other fine chemicals. 4BP is also used as a reagent for the preparation of other compounds, such as barbituric acid and dibenzofuran.
