Description:
2-Phenyl-3H-imidazo[4,5-b]pyridine is a heterocyclic organic compound. It is a colorless liquid that is soluble in methanol, and insoluble in water. 2-Phenyl-3H-imidazo[4,5-b]pyridine has been shown to modulate the activity of the ruthenium complex in the heart. This drug can also be used as an antihypertensive agent and it may have beneficial effects on congestive heart failure by inhibiting cardiac contractility. 2-Phenyl-3H-imidazo[4,5-b]pyridine has also been shown to have biological properties that are similar to lysine residues.
