Description:

3-Pyridineacrylic Acid is a highly hydrophilic compound that can be found in such foods as coffee, cocoa, and nuts. It is a white crystalline solid with an olefinic double bond and coordination chemistry. 3-Pyridineacrylic Acid has been used to synthesize supramolecular and luminescent compounds. The structural analysis of this molecule has been done using FT-IR spectroscopy, where it was found to have an activation energy of 36.5 kJ/mol.
