Description:
2-phenylcyclohexan-1-ol is an inhibitor compound that binds to the acyl chain of a substrate by competing with the substrate for the enzyme. It has been shown to inhibit brain functions and is used as an on-line modelling bioreactor. 2-phenylcyclohexan-1-ol is synthesized from cyclopentene oxide in a particle reactor, in which it acts as a carbon source. The molecule can be found in exudates with high values.
