Description:

Adelmidrol is a growth factor that has been shown to be effective in the treatment of chronic pulmonary disease and bowel disease. It has been shown to stimulate the production of magnesium-dependent enzymes, such as fatty acid synthetase, which may be useful for the treatment of diabetes and diabetic neuropathy. Adelmidrol also stimulates the production of prostaglandin E2 and inhibits inflammation in a number of experimental models. Adelmidrol is also used in treating eye disorders by stimulating growth of cells in the cornea and retina.
