Product Information
- 4-Allyloxy-phenylamine
4-(Allyloxy)aniline (4-AA) is a chemical that has been shown to react with formaldehyde and paracetamol to produce magnetically recoverable products. It can be used for the synthesis of nitroarenes in the presence of catalytic amounts of tert-butyl nitrite. The 4-AA is recovered from the reaction mixture by distillation or crystallization. The 4-AA reacts with nitro compounds such as ethylene, nitric acid, and thionyl chloride in an activated-state to produce nitro arenes. The 4-AA can also be used for the synthesis of nitrosoamines and has been shown to form a number of different forms depending on the conditions used during its preparation.
