It can be polymerized by cationic polymerization with hexyl isocyanate to form poly(1,3,5-triphenylisocyanurate). 1,3,5-Triphenylisocyanurate has been shown to be an efficient polymerization initiator for the synthesis of polymers with reactive functional groups.
