1-(4-Fluorophenyl)-3-(piperidin-1-yl)propan-1-one hydrochloride is a pyridinium compound that has been shown to have an antiarrhythmic effect. It inhibits the activity of the potassium channel and calcium ion channels, which are responsible for stabilizing the heart rate. 1-(4-Fluorophenyl)-3-(piperidin-1-yl)propan-1-one hydrochloride also modulates anion channels and can be used to treat hyperactivity.
