Description:
Octadecyl sulfide is a cyclic peptide that is a chemical species with the chemical formula C18H36O2S. Octadecyl sulfide has been shown to react with unsaturated alkyls and hydroxyl groups on the surface of metals, making it an excellent lubricant for metal surfaces. It also has a high resistance to water vapor and detergent compositions.
