Product Information
L-Glutamic acid γ-monohydroxamate is a derivative of L-glutamic acid that is synthesized by the enzyme glutamic acid γ-monohydroxamate synthetase. This compound has been shown to cause antibody production in response to all-trans retinoic acid, which is used in the treatment of infectious diseases and other disorders. A magnetic particle method for identifying bacteria has also been established using antibodies against L-glutamic acid γ-monohydroxamate. This compound is susceptible to oxidative reactions and irreversible inhibition by thermal expansion.
