Rhodium acetate is a chemical compound that is used as a catalyst in organic synthesis. It is prepared by reacting rhodium with ethyl diazoacetate in hydrochloric acid. Rhodium acetate can be used to catalyze the reaction between picolinic acid and boron nitride, forming monocarboxylic acid and silver ions. The biological properties of this compound have not been studied, although it is known that the receptor binding affinity of rhodium acetate for PTP1B inhibitory activity is high.
