Product Information
The 1,2,5-thiadiazolopyridine (TTP) is a functional group that has been used in the synthesis of organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs). The TTP molecule is an acceptor and can be used in the fabrication of OLEDs. These devices are made from thin films containing a layer of an organic semiconductor material and have been shown to have high efficiencies. TTP has also been used as a sensitizer to produce bathochromic shifts in x-ray structures. This functional group is also useful for Suzuki coupling reaction with selenophene. TTP is a fluorescent molecule that can be observed using solvents such as ethanol, acetone, ethyl acetate, chloroform, dichloromethane, or tetrahydrofuran.
