Description:
Neoechinulin A is a potent antioxidant compound that inhibits the production of the proinflammatory cytokine tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α). Neoechinulin A also protects neurons by increasing their resistance to oxidative stress and improving their locomotor activity. Neoechinulin A prevents viral replication by interacting with echinulin, which is an important component of the viral envelope.
