5-Chloro-6-phenylpyridazin-3(2H)-one (5CP) is a benzene derivative with insecticidal and antifungal properties. It has been used as an insecticide against various pests and as an antifungal agent for the treatment of fungal infections. 5CP has been shown to have significant antithrombotic activity, which may be due to its ability to inhibit platelet aggregation. This drug also shows strong antiinflammatory activity, which may be due to its inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis.
