Product Information
4-oxo-1,4-Dihydrobenzo[H]quinoline-3-carboxylic acid is a molecule that inhibits protein kinases. It has been shown to be active against human T cell leukemia virus type I (HTLV-I) and human immunodeficiency virus type 1 (HIV-1), as well as other viruses such as hepatitis B and C, in the laboratory. 4-oxo-1,4-Dihydrobenzo[H]quinoline-3-carboxylic acid is a potent inhibitor of HIV integrase in vitro with an IC50 of 0.2 μM. The inhibitory effect of 4 oxo DHBQC on HTLV or HIV integrase was confirmed by the inhibition of viral replication in cells.
