Product Information
1,2-Bis(10,12-tricosadiynoyl)-sn-glycero-3-phosphocholine (BCP) is a lipid molecule that consists of an acyl chain and a head group. BCP is a phase transition temperature of -25°C, with a diameter of 1.5 nm and membrane interactions. It is stable in mammalian cells and can be used for sample preparation for cell culture. BCP has been shown to form stable complexes with liposomal formulations and has been used as an ingredient in x-ray diffraction data analysis. Chemical analyses have shown that BCP contains phosphorus and hydrogen. Chemical reactions on this molecule include esterification and transesterification reactions. Cellular analyses show that BCPSN is able to inhibit the proliferation of cancer cells in vitro, including human caco-2 cells.
