Description:
Mesitylhydrazine hydrochloride is a catalytic reagent that can be used for the asymmetric synthesis of chiral enantiomers. It is also used in the synthesis of heterocycles and imines, as well as in the preparation of triazolium reagents. Mesitylhydrazine hydrochloride is an electrophile that reacts with carbene to form a metal carbene complex, which then reacts with an enantiomerically pure carbonyl compound to generate a chiral product. This process has been shown to be effective for the asymmetric synthesis of methyl esters, amides, and nitriles.
