Description:
1-Methylimidazole hydrobromide is a crystalline compound that belongs to the category of compounds with spacing. It is a good epoxide, which can be used as a building block for organic synthesis. 1-Methylimidazole hydrobromide has been shown to be immobilized on functional groups such as ruthenium complexes and magnetic nanoparticles. It has also been shown to transfer from one solvent to another without decomposition at temperatures below 180 °C. The morphology of this compound was observed using Raman spectroscopy with morphologies ranging from amorphous to crystalline.
