Product Information
The natural product benzaldehyde, 2-amino-3,6-dimethoxy is found in a variety of marine and terrestrial organisms. It is synthesized by the demethylation of catechol and has been shown to be an important intermediate in the synthesis of quinoline. Benzaldehyde, 2-amino-3,6-dimethoxy has also been shown to have antitumour properties, which are likely due to its ability to induce oxidative stress in tumor cells and inhibit cyclohexanone dehydrogenase.
