Product Information

Name:
Cefsulodin Sodium Salt Hydrate
Description:

Cefsulodin sodium salt hydrate is a carbapenem antibiotic that inhibits bacterial cell wall synthesis by binding to penicillin-binding proteins. It has a broad spectrum of activity against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. Cefsulodin sodium salt hydrate does not bind to human cells, and is not toxic to mammalian cells in vitro. The drug has been shown to have no adverse effects on the morphology of cellular morphology or matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization time-of-flight mass spectrometry (MALDI-TOF) profiles of cancer cells, which makes it an attractive chemotherapeutic agent for the treatment of cancer.
