Description:
1,3-Bis(2,6-diisopropylphenyl)imidazol-2-ylidene [bis(trifluoromethanesulfonyl)imide]gold(I) is a coordination compound. It has been shown to have anti-microbial activity against Gram-positive bacteria and fungi. This compound binds to the mitochondrial membrane potential, leading to inhibition of ATP synthesis and cell death.
