Product Information
(S)-4-Isopropyl-2-(isoquinolin-1-yl)-4,5-dihydrooxazole (DMI) is a compound that binds to the opioid receptors. It is an analgesic with a gaseous phase, which is not surprising since it contains a pyridine ring. DMI has been shown to be effective against botrytis cinerea and cultured supernatant from cells infected with this fungus. The binding of DMI to the receptor in the vessel wall inhibits release of neurotransmitters and prevents pain signals from being transmitted. This causes vasodilation and increased blood flow.
