8-Chloro[1,2,4]triazolo[4,3-a]pyridine is a drug that binds to the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) and inhibits its activity. EGFR is a transmembrane protein that plays an important role in the regulation of cell proliferation. 8-Chloro[1,2,4]triazolo[4,3-a]pyridine has been shown to be effective against treatment-resistant cancer cells.
