Product Information
Sunitinib-d10 is a drug that is used to treat renal cell cancer, chronic myeloid leukaemia, and other cancers. Sunitinib-d10 is a derivative of sunitinib that incorporates deuterium atoms into the molecule. Sunitinib-d10 has an improved detection sensitivity and can be used for the treatment of cancers that are resistant to treatments with sorafenib, dasatinib, and lapatinib. The drug binds to the ATP-binding site in mitochondria and prevents the formation of ATP by blocking the enzyme's activity. This causes oxidative stress inside cells and leads to apoptosis (cell death).
