Description:
4-Cyclohexylresorcinol is a liquid phase oxidation catalyst that can be used in the synthesis of resorcinol and cyclohexanol. It is a solid that has an optimum reaction condition at 250°C, and reacts well with ethers. The catalytic system consists of 4-cyclohexylresorcinol as the active catalyst, with a selectivity of 97% in favor of cyclohexanol. The catalyst can be reused without any loss of activity.
