Dodecahydroacenaphthylene (DHA) is a polycyclic hydrocarbon that can be found in coal tar. It has been shown to have an inhibitory effect on autoimmune diseases such as chronic arthritis, as well as a treatment for coronary heart disease. DHA has also been shown to have anti-inflammatory effects and may be beneficial to those with metabolic disorders or renal cell cancer.
