Description:

1,1,3-Trimethyl-1H-indene is a detectable metabolite of fluorenyl. It has been shown to be detectable in the serum of infants and mothers during pregnancy. 1,1,3-Trimethyl-1H-indene is an anesthetic agent that has been shown to have low bioavailability. It is also used as a reagent for qualitative analysis in gas chromatography and liquid chromatography. 1,1,3-Trimethyl-1H-indene's acid catalyst properties make it useful for various industrial purposes such as synthesizing polyester fibers, nylon resins, and rubber products.
