Benzophenone dimethylketal is a polycarboxylic acid that binds to the receptor and produces a calcium overload. It has been shown to have significant cytotoxic effects on various types of cancer cells in vitro. The binding of benzophenone dimethylketal to the receptor leads to an increase in intracellular calcium levels, which causes the cell to undergo apoptosis. Benzophenone dimethylketal also induces necrosis in some cells. Exposure of benzophenone dimethylketal to radiation, such as UV light, causes a decrease in its reactivity, which may be due to its ability to chemically transform into benzophenone monomethyl ketal (BPMK). Benzophenone dimethylketal is soluble in water and reacts with hydroxide solutions or sodium hydroxide solution, producing benzoic acid and methyl alcohol. The reaction mechanism for this chemical compound involves a hydroxyl group reacting with a carbonyl group. Benz
