Diphenyltin(IV) oxide is a chemical compound that is used as an analytical reagent. It has a molecular weight of 330.23 and a melting point of -8°C. Diphenyltin(IV) oxide can be used to determine the amount of carbon disulphide in a sample. The enzyme inhibitors, polycarboxylic acid, sodium salts, and nitrogen atoms are all found in this compound. This reagent also exhibits high resistance to particle size reduction and high reactivity with halides, fatty acids, and dibutyl compounds.
