Description:
3-Morpholino-1-phenylpropan-1-one is a potent inhibitor of hepg2 cells (human hepatoma) and microglia cells (brain cells). 3-Morpholino-1-phenylpropan-1-one binds to hepg2 and microglia cells and inhibits the production of proinflammatory cytokines, such as IL-6, TNFα, and IL-8. It has been shown that 3MOPP can inhibit the synthesis of phenylpropanoids in dasycarpus plants. This inhibition may be due to its binding to caffeic acid or other glycosidic functional groups.
