Description

p-Chloromethyl)phosphonic acid is a chemical compound that belongs to the group of polyaromatic compounds. It has an irreversible inhibition effect on the enzyme ethylene diamine oxidase and is used as a biocide in industrial water treatment. p-Chloromethyl)phosphonic acid has been shown to be effective against bacteria such as Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus, and Streptococcus pyogenes.
