Product Information
Compound 7 is a novel receptor ligand that binds to the H3 acetylation site of histone 3. It has been shown to have a significant effect on mitochondrial membrane potential, which may be due to its ability to inhibit cox-2 activity. This drug also has pharmacokinetic properties that allow it to cross the blood-brain barrier and enter into the brain. Compound 7 was effective in animal models for chronic schizophrenia and showed potent anti-inflammatory activities in vitro against Candida albicans.
