Oxametacin is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug that has been shown to be effective in the treatment of autoimmune diseases. It inhibits the production of inflammatory mediators by polymorphonuclear leucocytes, which are white blood cells that play an important role in the inflammatory response. Oxametacin also has antimicrobial and antifungal properties and has been shown to be biocompatible with a polymer used for ophthalmic surgery. This drug is also effective against choroidal neovascularization (CNV) in experimental models. The LC-MS/MS method is used to determine the biological properties of oxametacin and other drugs.
