Description:

Fast Black K Salt is a drug metabolite that belongs to the group of diazonium salts. It reacts with amines to produce azo compounds, which are used in chromatographic assays. Fast Black K Salt has been shown to be an active compound against bacteria, including Staphylococcus aureus and Bacillus subtilis. Fast Black K Salt also reacts with histidine and other amino acids in urine samples to form a colorless product that can be detected using histochemical staining. Fast Black K Salt is also found as a reactive component in nanotubes.
