It has been shown to reversibly bind to chains of polymers and can be used in the preparation of magnetic chains. 1-Butyl-1H-pyrazole is a molecular complex that consists of two pyrazoles, which are connected by a chain of hydrogen atoms. The magnetic properties can be changed by applying an external magnetic field. This compound also exhibits transition behavior when it changes from one form to another, such as going from liquid to solid or vice versa.
