N-Lauroyl-L-lysine is a ceramic material that is resistant to oxidation and corrosion. It has been shown to be compatible with both calcium carbonate and silicone in the presence of preservatives. N-Lauroyl-L-lysine can be activated by heat, which increases the surface roughness and reduces the particle size.
