Isobavachromene is a member of the genus Psoralea. The most significant cytotoxicity observed in vitro was against cancer cells, with IC50 values ranging from 1 to 2 µM. Isobavachromene has been shown to inhibit angiogenesis, and also exhibit anti-inflammatory properties. It inhibits acetylcholinesterase activity, which may be due to its hydroxyl group.
