Product Information
Dehydroeburicoic acid monoacetate (DHBMA) is a natural compound found in poria, a type of fungus that grows on the trunks of oak trees. DHBMA has been shown to be an apoptotic inducer, meaning that it causes cells to die. The mechanism by which DHBMA induces apoptosis is not known, but it has been shown to induce Bcl-2 phosphorylation and decrease cisplatin-induced nephrotoxicity in mice. DHBMA has also been shown to have anti-cancer effects in animals models and clinical trials.
