Product Information
Disuccinimidyl tartrate is a cell-specific diagnostic agent for the measurement of cortisol in human serum. It binds to the α1 subunit and α subunit of the receptor, which are located on the surface of cells. Disuccinimidyl tartrate has been shown to be specific for cortisol binding, not interfering with other hormones or binding sites. Disuccinimidyl tartrate is a diagnostic agent that can be used to diagnose autoimmune diseases by measuring the concentration of cortisol in serum or urine. This molecule has also been shown to be an agonist that binds to the colony-stimulating factor (CSF) receptor, inducing growth of erythroid progenitor cells.
