Product Information
AMPSO sodium salt is a crystalline compound that is used in biocatalysis. It is a water-soluble, inorganic substance that has been shown to be stable under conditions of freeze-drying and immobilisation. The aminomethylpropanesulfonic acid (AMPS) portion of the molecule is an organic compound that can be used as a buffer when dissolved in water. AMPSO sodium salt has been shown to have protease-inhibiting properties and may also be used as a catalyst for the hydrolysis of esters.
