Product Information
- Dansylamino-PITC
- 4-[5-(Dimethylamino)-1-naphthalenesulfonylamino]phenyl isothiocyanate
- 5-(dimethylamino)-N-(4-isothiocyanatophenyl)naphthalene-1-sulfonamide
Dansylamino-PITC is a fluorescent coupling reagent for Edman degradation. It reacts with the amino group of semaglutide and can be detected by fluorescence. This product is reactive, fluorescent, and has a high detection sensitivity. The chloride in this product is synthetic and can be used for electroosmotic flow and high detection devices. Dansylamino-PITC has been shown to have a detection limit of 10 pg/mL, which is much lower than other coupling reagents such as TCA or DTPA.
