Product Information
Pyrazolo[4,3-B]pyridine is a heterocyclic compound with the chemical formula C6H5N3. It has a pyridine ring fused to a pyrazole ring. Pyrazolo[4,3-B]pyridine was first synthesized in 1887 by the German chemist Heinrich Caro as an intermediate for his studies on the synthesis of quinine. The compound has been studied extensively and found to be an inhibitor of viral strains, including influenza A virus, HIV-1, and herpes simplex virus type 1. It can be used in cell culture as a mutant or conformational control agent. Acetoacetate tautomerizes rapidly to its tautomeric form and back again, which is why it's considered labile. Pyrazole derivatives are less labile than acetoacetate because they have nitrogen atoms that stabilize the pyrazole ring. These compounds are also more stable than p
